Feast Day June 1

A learned man interested in philosophy; Justin chose to convert to the faith in his early 30s. With his interests, he spread the gospel through his travels as a layman. Eventually his faith got him arrested and when requested, he refused to sacrifice to the pagan Gods, he was beheaded by the Roman Empire. His writings influenced early Christians & and his trial records still exist.

Small Snippet

Saint Justin, intercede to the Holy Ghost that I can clearly see why I bother to have faith at all. That in my search for answers, I may have peace.

I took these on my visit to DC as well.

My majesty palm plant died, and this was one of the last branches that it bloomed.
